We Are PoWEr are proud to announce we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces community, including service personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families.
By signing the Covenant and achieving the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), We Are PoWEr publicly recognise the value that serving personnel bring to society and the workplace, and we commit to upholding fair treatment and inclusive opportunities for all those connected to the Armed Forces.
This pledge formalises a relationship that is already deeply embedded in our organisation. Our Founder and CEO, Simone Roche MBE, serves as an Honorary Captain in the Royal Navy, a role that reflects her long-standing advocacy for military personnel and families. Through this appointment and other meaningful military relationships, We Are PoWEr maintains a strong and active connection to the Armed Forces.
Simone Roche MBE commented:
"Signing the Armed Forces Covenant is a reflection of our deep respect, partnership, and action in support of the Armed Forces. As an Honorary Captain in the Royal Navy, I see first-hand the value, resilience, and unique skills that service personnel bring to every community, and we are proud to amplify and support them through our platform".
Jan Cox, Defence Relationship Manager commented:
“I am delighted to welcome We Are PoWEr into our Armed Forces Covenant family. With Simone at the helm, We Are PoWEr has championed Defence and Defence People for many years. I look forward to working closely with Simone and her team in support of our Armed Forces community”.
This signing not only reflects our core values but actively supports our mission of building a more inclusive, representative, and equitable future for all.
